Leadership

Pastor Cory has served Union Hill Baptist Church since 2013. He started as our RA's/GA's director before taking over as the Youth Pastor in 2014. God has recently called him back as our Lead Pastor in 2023. Pastor Cory graduated from The Baptist College of Florida with a degree in Ministry Studies in 2017. He is married to Misti and they have one child: Layne.
UHBC has seen a great movement of God under Pastor Cory's leadership. He is faithful in preaching God's Word and loving the people of our Church Family and the Cottonwood community.

Brother Shane and his family joined Union Hill Baptist Church in 2019. He quickly plugged in as a member of the UHBC Youth Committee and as the drummer of the praise band. In the absence of a Youth Pastor, Brother Shane has served as Interim for UHBC Youth over past 2 years before joining the ministry staff at UHBC.
Shane and his wife, Heather have two children: Bailey and Ethan. He is excited about how God is going to use him in and through the Church.

Kevin joined the UHBC Youth Group when he was in 7th grade. In 2021 he graduated from Cottonwood High school where he took a position to serve as a counselor at Camp Real Life in Marianna Fl. for 2 years. He continually came back to serve the UHBC Youth in a leadership role. Kevin's passion is to further his education at the Baptist College of Florida, and plans to serve the youth in the community of Cottonwood as he spreads the good news of Jesus Christ.

Amy McNeill currently serves as children's minster at UHBC. She has a passion for serving students and loves the Lord Jesus Christ. She is presently a volunteer but is employed as an English teacher at Cottonwood High School. Amy is married to Todd, who also serves alongside her at UHBC. They have been blessed with two amazing children, Ethan and Ella Brooke. Amy strives to lead our children in heartfelt worship and sound Biblical teaching, but also has blast using different interactive methods for learning.

Josh and Courtney Vickers volunteer as Assistants to the Children's Minister. Their passion is to prayerfully support and serve the children's ministry by building relationships with children and guiding them in sound Biblical teaching. Josh and Courtney love children and enjoy being able to pour into them each week. They have faithfully served in ministry together since they began dating and continued into their marriage. They enjoy cooking, the outdoors, and quality family time with their two girls, Lily Jayne and Addie Mae.
